POMP doctoral scholarships. The Pool Of MELiSSA PhD funds four-year doctoral and postdoctoral positions, three years at a European university and a fourth embedded in a MELiSSA partner laboratory, plus the annual Summer University where the whole PhD pool meets to compare results. This is where most donations go today.
Keeping the technical notes library open and searchable. The Foundation hosts and maintains a public, full-text searchable archive of over 450 MELiSSA technical notes and reports, so the science stays freely accessible to researchers, students and partner institutions rather than sitting behind a paywall or a private drive.
Education, outreach and communication. Organising the biennial MELiSSA Conference, sharing MELiSSA research with students and the public, and representing the programme at scientific and public events.
