Terrestrial applications
The development of circular systems requires time, motivation, development strategy, progressive milestones and… budget. This is only possible through collaboration with terrestrial industry. For this purpose technology transfer company SEMiLLA IPStar was established in 2005.
Commercial activities not only generate budget for future research. It also brings engineering validation during long-term operation and risk exposure. Already four spin-off companies have been created from the MELiSSA community.
